PORTUGUÊS: Chaplain Nielsen (nascido em 21 de agosto, 1964) é desenvolvedor web e empreendedor digital, acumulando mais de 23 anos de experiência no universo digital. Sendo um renomado profissional de tecnologia da informação, é sobretudo um grande estudioso do marketing digital, video edição, sistemas operacionais, bancos de dados, engenharia de software, redes, programação, sistemas de gerenciamento de conteúdo e outros sistemas web, dispositivos móveis e tudo mais que envolve tecnologia, nas mais diversas áreas científicas.

Ele é o mais velho de quatro filhos nascidos de Maria (1941-2016) e Francisco (1939-2009). Ele foi abençoado por ser criado em uma família fortemente cristã e frequenta, durante toda a sua vida, a Igreja Congregação Cristã, cujo propósito é anunciar o amor de Deus à raça humana de modo que qualquer um possa ser salvo pela graça através da fé em Cristo Jesus, cujo sacrifício na cruz capacita-nos a tornarmos filhos de Deus. Suas raízes pentecostais eram profundas e ele foi batizado por imersão em nome de Jesus Cristo e em nome do Pai, do Filho e do Espírito Santo em 24 de setembro de 1983, quando ele tinha cerca de dezenove anos de idade.

Ordenado como Ministro da Palavra no mesmo ano, seu trabalho voluntário foi reconhecido em muitos países. Ele acredita que o único salário de um Ministro da Palavra é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus. Quanto a sua pregação, Paulo disse: (I Coríntios 9:16-17) “ Porque, se anuncio o evangelho, não tenho de que me gloriar, pois me é imposta essa obrigação; e ai de mim se não anunciar o evangelho! E, por isso, se o faço de boa mente, terei prêmio; mas, se de má vontade, apenas uma dispensação me é confiada. ” (I Tessalonicenses 2:9) “ Porque bem vos lembrais, irmãos, do nosso trabalho e fadiga; pois, trabalhando noite e dia, para não sermos pesados a nenhum de vós, vos pregamos o evangelho de Deus. ”

Com conhecimento em educação e trabalho juvenil, ele tem mais de três décadas de experiência em programas de educação na América do Sul, Europa e na América do Norte. Durante muitos anos, trabalhou como professor e, em 2005, juntou-se à equipe Hostexas, quando estava servindo o Senhor na América do Norte. Hostexas foi fundada no Texas no ano de 2005 e seu compromisso é ensinar 5 idiomas e fornecer 40 cursos profissionalizantes com qualidade e eficiência ao menor preço no mercado, criando futuros professores, tradutores, técnicos em informática e incentivando jovens cristãos. Sua criação baseou-se no trabalho voluntário cristão realizado pelos missionários de muitas igrejas nos Estados Unidos, ensinando os princípios da Bíblia Sagrada e do inglês americano, ajudando aqueles cidadãos em muitos países que não têm dinheiro para ir à faculdade.

Nascido em uma família muito pobre, foi educado por missionários americanos desde sua infância, o que lhe deu a oportunidade de aprender inglês, espanhol e português. No ano de 1974, aos 10 anos de idade, iniciou sua carreira profissional trabalhando em um restaurante italiano, onde pôde praticar a língua italiana. Sua mãe Maria tinha descendência européia e era uma cozinheira, enquanto seu pai Francisco era um guarda de segurança. Alguns anos mais tarde, ele se mudou para a Europa. Trabalhando como tradutor durante todo o dia, aproveitou a oportunidade para estudar francês, ucraniano, grego e italiano com falantes nativos, usando este dom natural de línguas.

Ele é um notável evangelista em quatro línguas e como um tradutor competente, ele mostra os seguintes atributos: um conhecimento muito bom da língua, escrita e falada, da qual ele está traduzindo (a língua de origem); um excelente domínio do idioma em que ele está traduzindo (a língua alvo); familiaridade com o assunto do texto que está sendo traduzido; uma profunda compreensão dos correlatos etimológicos e idiomáticos entre as duas línguas, incluindo o registro sociolingüístico quando apropriado; e um senso finamente aguçado sobre quando metafrasear (traduzir literalmente) e quando parafrasear de modo a garantir equivalentes verdadeiros, ao invés de espúrios, entre os textos do idioma de origem e de destino.

ENGLISH: Chaplain Nielsen (born August 21, 1964) is a web developer and digital entrepreneur, accumulating more than 23 years of experience in the digital universe. Being a renowned information technology professional, he is above all a great scholar of digital marketing, video editing, operating systems, databases, software engineering, networks, programming, content management systems and other web systems, mobile devices and everything more that involves technology, in the most diverse scientific areas.

He is the eldest of four children born to Maria (1941–2016) and Francisco (1939–2009). He was blessed to be raised in a strong christian family and has attended, during his whole life, the Christian Congregation Church, whose purpose is to announce the love of God to humankind so that anyone can be saved by Grace through faith in Christ Jesus, whose work at the cross enables us to become children of God. His Pentecostal roots were deep and he was baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ and in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost on September 24, 1983 when he was about nineteen years old.

Ordained as a Minister of The Word in the same year, his voluntary work has been recognized in many countries. He believes that the only salary of a Minister of The Word is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Concerning his preaching, Paul said: (I Corinthians 9:16-17) “ For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel. For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. ” (I Thessalonians 2:9) “ For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God. ”

With a background in education and youth work, he has over three decades of experience in education programs in South America, Europe and in North America. For many years, he served as a teacher and in 2005, he joined the Hostexas staff, when he was serving the Lord in North America. Hostexas was founded in Texas in the year 2005 and its commitment is to teach 5 languages and supply 40 vocational courses with quality and efficiency by the lowest price in the market, creating future teachers, translators, computer technicians and encouraging young christians. Its creation was based on the voluntary christian work done by the missionaries of many churches in the United States, teaching the principles of the Holy Bible and american english, helping those citizens in many countries that don´t have the money to go to college.

Born into a very poor family, he was educated by american missionaries since his childhood, which gave him the opportunity to learn english, spanish and portuguese. In the year 1974, when at age 10 years, he started his professional career working at an Italian restaurant, where he could practice the italian language. His mother Maria was from European descent and was a cook, while his father Francisco was a security guard. Some years later, he moved to Europe. Working as a translator the whole day through, he took the opportunity to study french, ukrainian, greek and italian with native speakers, using this natural gift of tongues.

He´s a notorius evangelist in four languages and as a competent translator, he shows the following attributes: a very good knowledge of the language, written and spoken, from which he is translating (the source language); an excellent command of the language into which he is translating (the target language); familiarity with the subject matter of the text being translated; a profound understanding of the etymological and idiomatic correlates between the two languages, including sociolinguistic register when appropriate; and a finely tuned sense of when to metaphrase (translate literally) and when to paraphrase, so as to assure true rather than spurious equivalents between the source- and target-language texts.
